The Jay Barton Invitational II
A weekend of golf hosted by Lee and Sally Barton
with their daughters, Sarah and Tricia
Kiawah Island Golf Resort | The Ocean Course & Osprey Point Course |March 14-17, 2024
Here we go again!
After an incredible four days in Pebble Beach in 2022, we are humbly announcing that we are planning a SECOND Jay Barton Invitational at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in March of 2024. We know there are many friends and family who were unable to attend the first one in California and we took that to heart. Our goal is to not only make this more attainable for travelers, but to raise more money, more awareness and have even more fun.
We have missed Jay for six long years now and we are so proud to be hosting this event in honor of the incredible life he lived.
In 2014, our daughter Tricia packed her bags and moved to Charleston, South Carolina. In 2016, our daughter Sarah and her family moved there as well. Sarah and Russ took an opportunity to move back to Tennessee, but Tricia and her family have given us a reason to visit the Lowcountry for many years.
This beautiful meeting of land and sea is treasured by a lot of our friends. The rich history, the incredible food and the Spanish moss dangling from the oak trees will quickly take your breath away.
We are thrilled to announce this event and sincerely hope that you can make it. We look forward to making incredible memories, but more importantly - we hope to help more lives.

Thank you —
Our family has truly been humbled by the outpouring of support and love we received for the first event. We have always known that we were rich in friendships, but sharing those days with you in one of our favorite places was something we can hardly put into words.
Thank you for continuing to support us in our efforts to raise awareness and knowledge surrounding the disease of addiction and for honoring our beautiful son, Jay. We hope to see you in Kiawah Island to make more memories, raise more money and help more lives in our fight against addiction.
