Golf FAQs

  • How do I book a caddy?

    From the Kiawah website:

There is no caddie fee at Kiawah, but we do recommend a service-based gratuity of $120 per player for a walking caddie and $60 per player for a forecaddie. See caddie services for more details.

Caddies may be requested for non-Ocean Course rounds and are provided at no additional fee if staffing levels allow. We do recommend a service-based gratuity of $100 per player for a walking caddie and $50 per player for a forecaddie.

  • Can I ship my clubs to Kiawah?

Kiawah has partnered with Shipsticks to provide club shipping services to the resort. Please click here for further info and pricing.

  • Can I rent golf clubs there?

Kiawah features Titleist rental clubs. New sets every year include AP1 irons, Vokey wedges, Scotty Cameron putters and Titleist 917d2 drivers and fairway metals. Each rental set includes a complimentary Kiawah branded box of 6 Titleist golf balls and feature regular flex shafts. Rentals are $75 per set for 18 holes and $37.50 per set for 9 holes. Junior Rentals also available at $15 per set.

  • Can I rent a cart?

The Ocean Course is walking only. Pull carts are allowed at all Kiawah courses, but we do not have any for rent.

  • Can our spouse walk the course with us if they are not playing?

    Of course!

  • Is there a dress code?

Proper attire is required at all times and is at the discretion of the golf staff.
Denim of any kind, shorts more than 5” above the knee, bathing suits, athletic style shorts and shirts without sleeves or collars are considered unacceptable.
